Rethinking models and process

MyBlog - MyBlog

We've been in the studio for the CLIVEvideo.com Web Presenters/ Brand Ambassador Auditions

It's a new format our rising star Kathy has put together, a small group of 6-8 people, 1 hour induction/ audition.  Note: This is double what we were getting through with the one person every 15 minutes scenario.

The best will read an unreheaPoloroid stunning model - web presenter auditionsrsed script in 1-2 takes (plus some other criteria - great voice, engaging, take direction etc) and be invited to join our list of professional presenters

Those who aren't quite there yet will be invited to further workshops www.clivevideo.com/Web-Presenter-Workshop-L1.html

Evaluating Performance

I've spent a few hours this morning looking through the CLIVE auditions - as a marketer I'm looking for a look and performance that will capture audience attention. Kasia comes up - stunning - I immediately think fashion and beauty.

It makes me rethink our business model process and how we can get these people in front of potential clients sooner rather than later.

Again, this process of constant improvement.

Like the circus juggler and Gladwell's Blink - the subconscious knowing and eye coming from years of experience that not everyone sees - Seth talked last week about interpreting criticism last week - handling limited perceptions.

My guys have other auditionees they like BUT will they sell?  I think how the X Factor has managed this process.   Innovation is great, imitation is faster.
