Happy New Year and welcome to the July '09 Edition of Maxys Report (including CLIVE).

Customer at the Centre of the UniverseLet's hope the worst of the GFC is now behind us and the purse strings open up a bit.  Far too many businesses overly defensive at the moment (IMHO).  Fact is, while your competitors are retreating there's good opportunities in the right markets to advance.

- even if the markets drop 25% there's still 75% being spent.

"Don't give me problems, look for solutions" my dad would say.

In business today, the customer is at the centre of the Universe, if you don't add value or have a unique offering or experience then you risk becoming either commoditised, disintermediated or both.  That equals either reduced margins or lost sales.  Differentiate or Die
